Lot Spec / COA Conformance Remedy

What this covers

Cove stands behind the purity stated on that lot's Certificate of Analysis (COA). This is a lot-spec / COA conformance remedy — not a blanket "under 99% = automatic refund," and not a guarantee of any experimental outcome.

Eligibility

• Sealed, unopened vial from the order in question.
• Claim opened within 30 days of delivery.
• One claim per order / lot.
• Materials are research use only (RUO) — not for human or veterinary use. No experimental outcome claims are covered.

How purity is judged

Independent HPLC (or equivalent) testing at a named accredited lab matching the Cove stack — Janoshik, Chromate, or Freedom Diagnostics — compared to that lot's COA purity. A material miss means measured purity is at least about 1 percentage point below the COA-stated purity for that lot (method and rounding as reported by the lab).

Process

1. Contact hello@coveresearch.is with order ID, lot number, and sealed-vial photos.
2. Customer pays for a qualifying retest upfront at Janoshik, Chromate, or Freedom Diagnostics and shares the verified report with Cove.
3. Cove may retest or verify directly with the lab before accepting a claim.

If the claim is validated

• Refund or replace the tested vial (product remedy only).
• Reimburse the reasonable, verified HPLC test cost for that claim (or issue store credit for the same amount), when the miss is confirmed against that lot's COA.

What this is not

This draft does not cover opened vials past the window, third-party mishandling after delivery, labs outside the named list without prior written approval, or any promise about research results. Shipping loss or damage in transit is handled separately under included tracked & insured shipping — not under this purity remedy.
